The client was having adhesive issues with the product when it was over-moulded with rubber as the plate would not injection mould flat.
Solution
ICON project managed the manufacture of a new mould tool that was designed and made to compensated the bending, thus produced a flat plate.
Outcome
Improved adhesion and the elimination of failures in the battle field the client has indicated this product is expected to be in production for the next twenty years.
