Safe and reliable

Health and Safety are key business parameters for Icon Plastics, and whilst growing our business we have constantly reviewed the risks involved in all of our operations. The high-risk tasks involving heavy lifting of moulding tools and raw materials have been significantly reduced with the installation of our two overhead gantry cranes, both capable of lifting 5 tonnes, which almost eliminates the need to have forklift trucks moving around the plant.

Injection moulding lines are as short as possible reducing the distance material and tooling has to travel.

The importance of safety is instilled in every member of staff from day one of their employment and this is reflected in our excellent accident and incident record.
